California Fresh Extra Virgin Olive Oil Presses for home and hobby

San Felipe Olive Co. began in 2008 with our first planting of olive trees in the beautiful Southern California valley of San Felipe in eastern San Diego County. This land of 130 acres we call Rancho San Felipe, is blessed with clean dry air, pure mountain aquifers, and deep DG loam soil.

We thought the olive tree was going to love it here and we were right, they thrived. We now have about 750 trees equally divided between Arbequina, Koroneiki and a Tuscan field blend of Frantoio, Casaliva, and Pendolino. Each year our harvest increases and we expect full production in the next year or two.

Our mission has been, and always will be, to offer the very finest and fresh, California Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Last year our Koroneiki won Silver Medal at the annual competition of the California Olive Oil Council. This was our first competition and proved we are on the right track to achieving our mission.

Our goals are ambitious, which coincides with the the anticipated growth of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the United States. As we serve the artisan gourmet market we are constantly aware of our customer feedback and requests. To that end, this last year we have expanded our product line to include two new gift packs as well as a new Traditional White Balsamic Vinegar, the perfect complement to our California Fresh Extra Virgin Olive Oils. Of course, along with our Extra Virgin Olive Oil products, we will continue to help support the olive oil industry here in Southern California, offering expert consultation to new growers and producers, as well as, orchard management.
